The portfolio launched on 30 Aug 2026. September was a “waiting” month: ROI edged up only +10.6% over the whole month, with flat and slightly negative weeks. Almost all of the profit came in October — exactly the rhythm we describe on the homepage: profits don't show up every day.
The trades that made October
| Trade | Position ROI (2x) | Profit | Held | Closed |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| #AGTUSDT | +224.2% | +2,419 USDT | ~25 days | 17 Oct |
| #QUSDT | +177.8% | +1,807 USDT | ~20 days | 16 Oct |
| #QUSDT | +135.5% | +534 USDT | ~7 days | 26 Oct |
The two biggest trades were opened in late September and held for almost three weeks — through flat days that would have locked in only a fraction of the gain if closed early. All three were scaled out in parts as price ran, so copiers took profit in the same proportions.
The biggest losing trades
| Trade | Loss | Held | Closed |
|---|---|---|---|
| #USUSDT | −276 USDT | ~3.5 days | 5 Oct |
| #SOONUSDT | −72 USDT | ~11 days | 13 Oct |
| #ATHUSDT | −37 USDT | ~8 days | 12 Oct |
Losses were small next to the biggest winner, thanks to low leverage and isolated margin. One honest note: #ATHUSDT was one of the rare positions above 2x leverage — an exception to the portfolio's 2x rule.
What didn't go well, and lessons
- Profit is very concentrated. Three trades made 86% of realized profit, which means a month without a big winner can be flat or negative.
- Copiers left too early. All of the first 12 copies came after the mid-October run-up; most stopped within hours to days and caught only a small part of the month. The sample is small, but the pattern was clear enough for us to rewrite the homepage around setting the right expectations.
- The track record is still short. Two months isn't enough to judge a strategy. We'll keep publishing a report every month — losing months included.
What changed this month

November: what to expect
We don't forecast returns. The process stays the same: a bot scans 500+ pairs every hour, a trader picks a few setups, 2x leverage, partial take-profits, winners held. After a strong month, a few flat weeks are completely normal — and that's when patience matters most.

Frequently asked questions
How much did MoonScout make in October 2026?
The portfolio's ROI on Binance Copy Trading rose about +95.9% from the end of September to 28 Oct 2026, with a maximum drawdown of −7.3% during the month (on daily data).
Will next month be as good?
Nothing guarantees it. The portfolio's profit is concentrated in a few big trades, so a strong month is often followed by a flat or down stretch. September gained only +10.6%.
Should I copy right after a big month?
The biggest risk is wrong expectations: joining after a run-up and quitting during the flat stretch. If you copy, choose an amount you can leave alone for at least 30 days, or follow along with Mock Copy first.
