About MoonScout: who runs it and how it works

One independent trader, one public portfolio on Binance Copy Trading. Here is how positions are chosen, what we publish, what we never do, and the risks you take by copying.

In short
  • An independent trader running one public portfolio on Binance Copy Trading, not affiliated with Binance.
  • 2x leverage, isolated margin, mostly altcoin longs; winners are held, profits are taken in parts.
  • Every position is posted publicly, and a monthly report covers losses as well as wins.
  • The track record is 61 days long: still short. Futures can lose all of your capital.

Who runs MoonScout

MoonScout is run by one independent trader. The portfolio lives on Binance Copy Trading, so every number you see here (ROI, drawdown, positions, copier count) comes from Binance's public data and refreshes on the homepage every hour. We do not show backtests or paper results on this site: only what the real portfolio did.

Frequently asked questions

Is MoonScout affiliated with Binance?

No. MoonScout is an independent lead trader portfolio on Binance Copy Trading. It is not run, endorsed or reviewed by Binance. Binance provides the copy trading platform and the public statistics we quote.

How does MoonScout make money?

Through Binance's profit sharing: when a copier closes a profitable period, Binance pays the lead trader 10% of that profit. There are no subscriptions, paid groups or signals for sale.

Is the portfolio fully automated?

No. A scanner watches 500+ Binance Futures pairs and sends alerts, but every position is opened and closed by hand on the portfolio. Some positions come from alerts, others from the trader's own judgment.

Will my results match the portfolio's ROI?

Not exactly. Your results depend on when you start copying, your copy mode and amount, fees, slippage and the profit share. Positions opened before you start copying are not copied.

How can I contact MoonScout?

Ask in the chat room on the Binance Copy Trading page or follow the Telegram channel. We never send the first private message; anyone who does is not us.
